Susan Wu is an American entrepreneur, angel investor and start-up adviser.
She was an early investor in Twitter and Canva and the head of online payments company Stripe in Australia and New Zealand from 2013 to 2016. She co-founded Project Include, an initiative to increase diversity and inclusion at tech companies and venture capital firms and was named as one of the most influential women in technology in 2010 by Fast Company.
With co-founders Sophie Fenton and Amanda Tawhai— she opened Lumineer Academy in Melbourne, a primary school that promises to revolutionise education.
“We can’t predict what the future looks like, but we do know 65 per cent of primary school kids will work in jobs that haven’t been invented yet,” Wu told The Australian. “We can make sure our kids are as prepared as possible for any future version of the future, by making them resilient, lifelong learners.”
